Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Kiritsu ("Kiritsu", "we", "us"), a personal productivity and focus application operated by Kiritsu. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Kiritsu.

Kiritsu is a focus ecosystem: a day planner, deep-work timer, habit and routine tracking, and a personal "Momentum" economy with statistics. Kiritsu is in active development; features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You sign in through GitHub or Google. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Accounts are for individual use, and you must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Kiritsu.

You agree not to:

• use Kiritsu for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive;
• attempt to access other users' data or accounts;
• disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service;
• scrape, resell, or redistribute the service without permission.

Everything you create in Kiritsu remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content to operate the service for you. You're responsible for the content you add, and you can export or delete it at any time from Settings.

Kiritsu offers a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription (billed monthly or annually through Stripe).

• Pro renews automatically each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (Settings → Manage billing); your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Prices may change; we'll give notice before a change affects you, and applicable taxes may be added.
• If you are a consumer in Brazil, you have a 7-day right of regret (direito de arrependimento) under the Consumer Defense Code (CDC) to cancel an online purchase, contact us within 7 days of a charge and we will refund it.
• Otherwise, except where required by applicable consumer law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods.

The in-app Spotify feature requires your own Spotify Premium account and is subject to Spotify's terms; Kiritsu does not provide music or a Spotify subscription.

Kiritsu integrates with Google/GitHub (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Spotify (optional playback). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

The Kiritsu name, brand, design, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service; they don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

Kiritsu lets you log things like sleep and mood and surfaces patterns and suggestions from your own data. This is for personal productivity only and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Don't rely on it as a substitute for a qualified professional.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost - please keep your own exports of anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you're on the Free plan, is limited to a nominal amount).

You can stop using Kiritsu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms as Kiritsu evolves. We'll revise the "Effective" date and, for material changes, provide clearer notice. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
